PlaySafe Updates
The latest updates to Teamo include in-app enhancements to our track and trace system - PlaySafe. Players and parents can now check-in to events directly from the Teamo app - no need to scan the QR code.
How to set it up
When creating an event that has a Location that is also a PlaySafe location, you will have the option to turn on Allow Check-in from Event. This means that players will no longer have to scan the QR check-in poster to check-in, they can do it directly from their phone in advance of the session or after the session has taken place.
If you do not see this option, please ensure that the PlaySafe location has been created in Manage Club > PlaySafe.
How to check-in
This means that from 3 hours before the event and until the end of the day players and parents will be able to check-in directly from the event in their Teamo Calendar. Members simply have to go to the Calendar and select the event they are attending. Select Check-in and they will be asked to complete the self-health declaration to check-in.
This will allow players to check-in to events in advance of sessions and parents will be able to check their kids in without having to get out of the car and scan the QR code to check their children in.
How to review check-ins
Captains, managers and admins will be able to use the Attendance Register feature within an event to view who has checked in and then mark attendance based on check-ins.
To view, head to the Calendar to select the event. Select Mark Attendance to load the attendance register with PlaySafe information.
