About Oxted Hockey Club
Oxted Hockey Club runs 5 men's teams and 3 ladies teams, along with a thriving junior section. They made the decision to switch their membership management to teamo during the summer of 2019 in order to reduce administration tasks and haven't looked back since.
Overall, I think it gives a more professional view of the club to an outsider. Everything can be done on an app on the phone and new joiners are able to register, pay and receive communications from us within minutes of joining. A great platform!!

Why Teamo
The Surrey-based club were looking for a platform to use for their expanding junior section so they could better manage subscriptions, payments and availability. As teamo had recently been announced as an England Hockey Approved Provider of Club Management Software, they decided to give it a try to solve their admin headaches.
We spoke to a few clubs we know and Teamo was highly recommended. Around the same time we noticed a link in with England Hockey and it seemed too good not to give you guys a shout.

Feature Focus: Payments
In the past, Oxted used spreadsheets to keep track of payments in and out of their account, linking individuals to bank transfers. Since setting up their club products on the flexible payment system that teamo offers, they have been able to easily allocate memberships to different age groups and parents have easily been able to make payments which can be tracked by the coaches!
A major impact of using Teamo is the time it has saved dealing with registrations and payments. No longer sifting through paper registration forms, transferring onto excel and then checking bank payments, I can assure you that the Club Treasurer and Junior Chairman are most thankful...

The Payments Center provides an overview of all members and their Membership Status so you can take care of all payments in the one place.
What The Parents Think
After testing a few payments with some parents who found it very easy to use, they then decided to roll the system out to all parents.
As ever, firstly people were sceptical with the change, however, we are pleased to say the change has been viewed very positively. The app based interaction for parents and guardians is great and all in a single place for them to access.
