Chat just got better

Club chat is where Saturdays get sorted: the venue change, the kit reminder, the photos after the final whistle. So we've been giving Teamo chat a lot of love, and it's had its biggest update yet.

Here's what's new, on your phone and on your computer.

📶 Send it, even with no signal

On a patchy touchline, just send your message. Teamo holds it safely and sends it by itself the moment you're back in signal, so you can put your phone away and get on with the game. In the Teamo app, the same goes for photos and videos: they keep uploading if the signal drops or the app closes, and every one arrives.

⚡ Ready the moment you open it

Messages now arrive on your phone even while the Teamo app is closed. Open it, and they're already in the chat, ready to read. The sender sees their message is delivered straight away too.

📌 Pin it, react, reply

Teamo chat has a fresh new look for every club, and some favourites from other chat apps:

• Pinned messages. Keep the important one, like the season's kit list or the venue, at the top of the chat. Managers, admins and whoever started the chat can pin.
• Reactions. A quick 👍 instead of another message.
• Quoted replies. Reply to the exact message, so everyone knows what you're answering.
• Link previews. Paste a link and it shows a card with the page's title and picture.

👀 Know who's seen it

Tap Info on any message you've sent to see exactly who it reached: in the app, by email, or through a parent or guardian. You'll also see who's read it, and when.

🖱️ Drag and drop on a computer

Using Teamo on a laptop? Drag photos, videos or files from your desktop straight onto any chat. They wait in a to send tray so you can check them, add more, then send.

📣 Better broadcasts

Club broadcasts can now carry a poll, perfect for “Can your child make Saturday?”, and guardians answer once for each child. You can format broadcasts with bold, italics and lists too.

📲 Share into Teamo

On Android, share photos, text or PDFs from other apps straight into a Teamo chat.

Everything here is live now. On your phone, make sure you've got the latest Teamo app (version 2.2.37 or later) from the App Store or Google Play. On a computer, just open Teamo in your browser.
