What the club keeps on a £5 session
A £5 session fee and a £30 payment, by a standard UK card (and by Direct Debit on Teamo). On small payments the fixed part of the fee is most of the cost.

To be straight with you: at 100–150 members ClubSpark Basic costs less per month (with two admins and adverts), and from 200 to 499 members Teamo's monthly price is higher. For most clubs the lower payment fee more than covers it.

A pay-per-session year on ClubSpark and on Teamo
A 50-member club charging £40 a year for membership and £5 a session, with members training twice a week. Over 44 training weeks (eight weeks off over Christmas and summer) that is 88 sessions each: 4,400 session payments a year if every one is paid separately. With Autopay, Teamo collects each member’s 8 sessions a month in one £40 payment, 11 times a year.

Honestly: on this model Teamo costs £1,458.50 a year less by Direct Debit, and £1,338.50 less by card. Lower payment fees on every ClubSpark plan, no 12-month contract, and a club website from Silver.
Paid one session at a time by card, Teamo’s own fees would come to £1,512.00 a year: the saving comes from Autopay collecting a month in one payment, not from a lower rate. For comparison, if you swapped pay-per-session for a flat £40 monthly training fee, ClubSpark would cost £1,074.00 a year on these numbers, more than Teamo’s £600.00. A flat fee charges members for sessions they miss; Autopay charges for the ones they come to.

Teamo Autopay: a month of sessions in one payment
Every card payment carries a fixed fee, usually 20p, so on a £5 session most of the cost is that fixed part. Autopay collects what each member owes in one payment a month, so the club pays one fixed fee instead of 8.
Members save a payment method once
A card or a Direct Debit, one or the other. A parent can be the Autopayer for their children.
Session fees add up
As sessions are charged, the fees go on the member’s account. No paying at the door, and no payment link for every session.
One statement a month
At the start of each month Teamo puts everything a member owes the club into one statement and emails it to them. It is collected four days later, so there is time to query an item first.
One fee, not 8
8 sessions paid one at a time by card cost £2.64 in fees. Collected together as one £40 payment: £1.00 by Direct Debit, £1.20 by card.
The club sets an Autopay limit for each member, and a statement never goes over it, so set it above a normal month. Sessions with a limited number of places are paid when they’re booked, not by Autopay. More in AutoPay and Direct Debit, done properly.

Switching from ClubSpark: questions clubs ask
When should we switch from ClubSpark?
ClubSpark plans run on a 12-month contract, so check your renewal date. Most clubs set Teamo up a few weeks before their own membership renewals and don't renew the ClubSpark plan.
Do our members need to download an app?
No. Members can join and pay on the web from one link. The app is there for chat, sessions and reminders if they want it.
Is there a contract or set-up fee on Teamo?
No contract and no set-up fee. Your tier is set by your member count and changes automatically. Clubs up to 50 members are free.
What about juniors?
Juniors are linked to their parents, who get the messages and pay. Club chats are built to be safe for under-18s.
Who will we deal with?
