About Hagley Golf Club
Hagley Golf Club is an 18 hole golf course renowned for its fast and true greens. The covered driving range, pro shop and golf academy make them one of the most advanced clubs in Worcestershire and this is their first year using teamo.
Hagley Golf Club were fed up of printing and posting updates on their notice boards (which people rarely looked at!) so they decided to implement teamo to make it easier to share news with their members and reduce the amount of admin for organisers.
The app means I'm not visiting notice boards together with phoning round everyone. Typically most time is wasted on finding out if players are available and then trying to communicate the team selection. The time saved has allowed me to focus on studying form to pick a more competitive team.
Feature Focus: Dashboard
The Dashboard is the easiest way to keep track of recent news and upcoming matches. All recent notifications appear here and prompts players to complete actions including confirming availability, making it easier for organisers to select their teams.
Notice boards are old fashioned and people really don't look at them anymore. We wanted a step towards modernity with something that kept players updated and what better way than to bring all this together in a smart app on your phone.
What do your members think about using teamo?
Getting a whole club to buy into an app can be tough however, Hagley have found implementing teamo for their communication extremely beneficial. Teamo also offers a variety of channels to communicate with members and keep everyone in the loop via emails, chats and push notifications.
Teamo does a lot of things efficiently and effectively with its major strength being on communication.
Everyone finds the app useful for communication and simple to use. It syncs with their calendar in their phones and saves them time too as they don't have to visit notice boards, etc.
