The Page Manager section in the website area is where you’ll build and manage your site’s structure. You can create and organise your main menu, which can contain up to 6 items. Each menu item can be:
- A new page
- A sub-menu
- A link to an external URL
- A link to a team page
- A link to an existing page
Pro Tip: If you’re starting from scratch, it’s a good idea to build your menu structure first, then add content. You can edit or reorder menu items at any time using the grippers next to each title.
1. Information Pages - These are the most common page type. You can add text, images, contacts, tables, and more.
2. News Articles - Used for writing updates, bulletins, or news stories. You can tag articles to appear in different sections of your site, like the News Index or Team Pages.
3. News Index - Displays all the news articles tagged as ‘News’. You can also auto-include match reports made public.
4. Calendar Pages - Show events directly pulled from Teamo, including fixtures, training, and socials. You can customise which teams are shown on the calendar.
5. Contact Pages - Allows you to create a contact form. You can specify who receives the form submissions in the Site Settings.
Content on your site is organized using Content Blocks. These blocks can be added, edited, reordered, and deleted at any time. Here are the types of content you can include:
- Headers (and sub-headers)
- Text
- Images & Videos
- Documents
- Tables
- Contacts
- Links
- Side-by-side Images & Text
- Go to Page Manager in the website area of Teamo desktop.
- Click the plus (+) sign at the bottom of the left-hand menu.
- Give your page a title and header image.
- Select News Article as the page template.
- After writing your article, add tags at the bottom of the page.
- Tag it as ‘News’ and ‘Article’ to appear in the News Index.
- For the article to show in Latest News, tag it with a club section (e.g., a specific team). This will also make it appear on that team’s page.
Yes, the main menu can have up to 6 items. You can create unlimited sub-menu items, but we recommend keeping it clean and simple.
After adding tags, you need to re-publish the article and News Index.
- Click the edit button at the top right of the article.
- Click Re-publish page.
- You may need to re-publish the homepage if the article is not showing in the Latest News section.
Most 404 errors are fixed by republishing:
- Go to your Teamo website admin → Page Manager
- Find the affected page (e.g., News, Home)
- Click the edit icon (pencil) for that page
- Click "Republish"
- Refresh the live page in your browser (Ctrl+F5 or Cmd+Shift+R)
- Check if the error is resolved
If One Page Doesn't Fix It
You may need to republish multiple pages:
- The News page itself
- The Home page (if news shows there)
Any page that links to the problematic article
The "2" on The Publish Button
If you see a number badge on your Publish button:
- This indicates pages waiting to be published
- Click Publish and publish all pending pages
- Wait 1-2 minutes for changes to propagate
When you add news articles, Teamo generates pages dynamically. Sometimes the connection between the article and the page structure needs to be refreshed. Republishing rebuilds this connection.
