GetSocial looks

Make match graphics in four looks: record the goals, open GetSocial from the fixture, pick a look, and set your club look.

GetSocial makes match graphics for your club's social media: team sheets, results, Player of the Match and fixture round-ups. Each graphic now comes in four designed looks (Pitch, Strike, Programme and Classic) and fills itself in from the match.

Screenshots are from our test club, Ring Pass Delft. Your graphics use your club's own badge and colours.

1️⃣ Record the match

Open the fixture, tap Edit, and add each goal under Add Statistics, with the minute if you have it. Hockey clubs can mark each goal as a field goal, penalty corner or penalty stroke. The graphics use these goals for the score and the scorers.

2️⃣ Open GetSocial for that match

On the fixture, open Manager Tools → GetSocial. Choose a graphic: Team sheet, Result, Player of the Match or Squad.

3️⃣ Pick a look

Tap Branding, then choose a look under Look: Pitch, Strike, Programme or Classic. The post is redrawn in your club's colours. You can also change the colours and turn the club logo on or off here.

🏁 The result

Every look shows the real scorers with their minutes. Pitch draws a match timeline when every goal has a minute, and a scorer list if any goal doesn't. For hockey clubs, the opponent's badge comes in from England Hockey's club library.

⭐ Player of the Match

Tap Profile → Add player and pick the player. Their name, shirt number, position and this match's goals and assists fill in. Add a photo and it sits behind them.

📋 Team sheet

Add the squad under Players. Pitch lays them out in formation (use Formation and positions to change it); the other looks list them. Long team names shrink to fit. Show subs and staff shows or hides the bench.

📅 Fixtures and results round-ups

From GetSocial's home, choose Fixtures or Results, then Find fixtures for a date range. The round-up uses the same looks.

🏆 Make it the club look

Club admins and members with Social Media Manager access see Make … our club look under the Look picker. Every new post in your club then starts in that look. Anyone can still change the look on their own post.

❓ Questions

Where do I find the new looks?

Open any Team sheet, Result, Player of the Match, Fixtures or Results graphic, tap Branding, and choose a look under Look. The tiles in the chooser show the original designs; you pick the look inside the post.

What does “Make … our club look” do?

It sets the look every new post in your club starts in. Only club admins and members with Social Media Manager access see it. Anyone can still change the look on their own post.

Why don't my scorers show?

Scorers come from the match. Open the fixture, tap Edit, and add each goal under Add Statistics, with the minute if you have it. Players only appear by name if they've allowed their name to be published.

Why is Pitch showing a list instead of a timeline?

The timeline needs a minute for every goal. If any goal was added without one, Pitch shows a scorer list instead. Add the missing minutes to get the timeline.

Where does the opponent's badge come from?

For hockey clubs, from England Hockey's club library, matched on the opponent's name. If the name doesn't clearly match one club, no badge is shown rather than the wrong one.

How do I pick the Player of the Match?

In a Player of the Match post, tap Profile → Add player. Their name, shirt number, position and this match's goals and assists fill in. Until you pick a player, the graphic shows no name.

Can I hide the subs?

Yes: Players → Show subs and staff. The switch appears when your team sheet has subs or staff.

Can I change the “Subs” heading?

Yes: Players → Organise teamsheet, then tap the subs heading. The new looks use the same heading.

My team name is long. Will it fit?

Yes. Team names shrink to fit their space.
